SUMMARY
ADULT
Elongate; shining; black; palps and basal half of elytral epipleuron yellowish-brown; male with venter black; female with prosternum and base of abdomen reddish-yellow. Head: concave between eyes; densely punctate. Head: slightly depressed between eyes; finely, densely punctate; faint medial carina present. Antenna: reach to humerus; slender; antennomeres oblong; 1 elongate; 2 shorter, oval; 3 longer than 2, cylindrical; 4-5 subequal in length, each shorter than 3; 6-10 each longer than 5; 11 longer than 10, pointed at apex; 1-2 punctate with scattered setae; 3-11 setose. Pronotum: transverse; lateral margin straight, rounded at apex; anterior angle rounded, produced; posterior angle acute; convex; punctate except medial line on disc; basal impression absent. Scutellum: pentagonal; smooth. Elytron: lateral margin straight, finely margined; apex rounded; humerus rounded, not produced; regularly punctate-striate, punctures obsolete apically. Venter: last abdominal sternite sinuate medially in male; female truncate. Total length: 5.5-6.0 mm.
