SUMMARY
Oval; bright metallic blue; antennae and legs yellow. Head: flat; vertex densely punctate; not depressed between eyes; medial sulcus absent; frons not projecting. Antenna: narrow; reach to hind margin of pronotum; antennomeres similar in appearance; 1-2 subequal in length, transverse; 3 cylindrical, as long as 1 and 2 combined; 4-10 transverse, subequal in length; 11 pointed at apex, as long as 3. Pronotum: arched; finely and moderately punctate; weak impression on each side; side strongly margined, almost straight on basal ⅓, then converging toward apex; apical margin bisinuate; basal margin bisinuate, finely emarginate; anterior angle projecting, narrow; posterior angle rectangular; pronotal length 1.0 mm (n=1); pronotal width 1.8 mm. Scutellum: triangular; smooth. Elytron: side finely emarginate, smooth; arched; with fine, dense punctures; scutellar row long; puncture rows converge and unite on apex; interspaces arched; flattened on side; elytral length 3.7 mm; elytral width 2.5 mm. Venter: black; finely punctate; covered with short setae; last sternite rounded, weakly emarginate on each side in female; pygidium broadly rounded, finely punctate. Leg: protibia with longitudinal groove beneath; tarsi and apex of tibia bright brown; femur robust, punctate; tibia incised at apex, with fringe of setae at apex. Total length: 4.8 mm. Immature stages are unknown.
