SUMMARY
ADULT
Elongate, slightly convex; narrow; shining; black, with the basal 1/3 of elytra and elytral margin reddish-yellow; pronotal margin weakly reddish; tarsi and apex of the protibiae dark chestnut, almost black; tibio-femoral articulation reddish chestnut; venter prosternum medially and mesosternum basally brownish-yellow. Head: flat or slightly convex between eyes; slight keel present between antennal bases; punctation fine and sparse; eye not strongly convex. Antenna: shorter than head and pronotum combined; antennomeres cylindrical; 1 thick, punctate, each puncture with white seta; 2 punctate, each puncture with white seta; 3 longer than 4; 4-10 subequal in length; 11 longer than 10, bluntly pointed at apex; 3-11 covered with brownish pubescence; all somewhat conical. Pronotum: quadrate; slightly shining; lateral margin straight, rounded at apex, narrowly margined; basal margin bisinuate; anterior angle rounded, not produced; posterior angle acute; surface finely, densely punctate with some larger punctures laterally and basally and impunctate medial line; basal impression absent. Scutellum: pentagonal; smooth. Elytron: slightly convex; lateral margin straight; apex rounded, slightly serrate; apices individually rounded; pygidium visible; punctation more pronounced externally; apical margin with small, scarcely visible teeth; humerus rounded, not produced; constricted behind humerus; scutellar row long. Venter: covered with whitish pubescence; last abdominal sternite broadly rounded in male; truncate in female. Leg: tibia flattened. Total length: 5.0-6.5 mm. Humeral width: 1.8-2.2 mm.
