SUMMARY
ADULT
Small; variable in coloration. Head: punctate; medial sulcus absent; slightly depressed between eyes; frons not projecting. Antenna: antennomeres 1-3 reddish-yellow, rest black; 1-2 transverse, punctate, subequal in length; 3 cylindrical, longer than 1 or 2; 4-10 transverse, subequal in length; 11 pointed at apex, subequal in length to 3. Pronotum: convex; sparsely, deeply punctate, less dense on disc and apical margin; punctures on disc smaller than those on side; side margined, canaliculate, straight for basal ¾'ths then convergent; anterior angle rounded, not produced; posterior angle acute; pronotal length 0.6-0.7 mm (n=15); pronotal width 0.9-1.0 mm. Scutellum: pentagonal; blackish; smooth. Elytron: side margined, smooth; apices cojointly rounded; puncture rows little impressed; puncture rows converge and unite at apex; black with reddish yellow at humerus and margins or brownish with dark suture; elytral length 2.4-3.0 mm.; elytral width 1.1-1.3 mm. Venter: pro-, meso-, and metasterna pale and smooth in middle, dark and punctate at sides; abdominal sterna 1 and 2 fused in middle; 1 punctate at sides; 3-5 setose. Leg: tibia with fringe of setae at apex; femur robust. Total length: 3.3-3.9 mm.
