SUMMARY
ADULT
Head, basal 2 antennal antennomeres, pronotum, and basal ½ of elytra yellowish; eyes, antennal antennomeres 3-11, and apical ½ of elytra black. Head: vertex alutaceous; depressed between eyes; medial carina present; frons not projecting. Antenna: antennomeres 1-2 cylindrical, subequal in length; 3-10 transverse, subequal in length; 11 pointed at apex, subequal in length to 1 or 2. Pronotum: convex; punctures large, shallow, sparse; lateral margin canaliculate, straight for basal ¾ then rounded in ♂, ♀ evenly arcuate; anterior angle rounded, not produced; posterior angle acute; pronotal length 0.7-0.9 mm (n=4); pronotal width 1.3-1.6 mm. Scutellum: pentagonal, alutaceous. Elytron: lateral margin smooth, margined; apices cojointly rounded; puncture rows little impressed; row 10 removed from margin; puncture rows obsolete on apical ⅓; elytral length 2.7-3.0 mm; elytral width 1.3-1.9 mm. Venter: reddish-yellow; pro-, meso-, and metasterna punctate; abdominal sterna 1 and 2 fused in middle; 3-5 setose; last sternite emarginate in ♂, truncate in ♀. Total length: 3.6-4.1 mm.
