ADULT
Metallic blue; oval; convex. Head: vertex finely punctate; slightly depressed between eyes; frons projecting. Antenna: antennomere 1 clavate, punctate, subequal in length to 3; 2 transverse, ½ length of 1, punctate; 3 cylindrical, punctate, with some setae; 4-10 cylindrical, subequal in length; 11 cuspidate, subequal in length to 1 and 3. Pronotum: surface uneven, with two vague, rounded depressions between middle and side margin; sparsely, irregularly punctate; alutaceous; side margined, evenly arcuate from base to apex; anterior angle rounded, slightly produced; posterior angle acute; pronotal length 1.1 mm (n=1); pronotal width 1.9 mm. Scutellum: broadly triangular; smooth. Elytron: side margined, slightly flattened, smooth; slightly expanded to apex; apices cojointly rounded; punctures impressed; puncture rows converge and unite at apex; elytral length 3.4 mm; elytral width 2.4 mm. Venter: dark brown with bluish reflections; prosternum smooth in middle, reticulate at side; meso- and metasterna smooth in middle, punctate at side; abdominal sterna punctate; last sternite broadly sinuate in male, less so in female; pygidium setose. Leg: dark brown with bluish reflections; tarsi light brown; golden setae at apex of tibia. Total length: 4.7-5.4 mm.
