SUMMARY
ADULT
Shining black except sides, base of pronotum, and elytral margins which are yellow. Head: deeply, densely punctate; medial sulcus absent; not depressed between eyes; frons not projecting. Antenna: antennomeres 1-3 cylindrical, 1 and 2 subequal in length, 3 longer; 4-10 transverse, subequal in length; 11 rounded at apex, subequal in length to 1 or 2. Pronotum: reddish-yellow except black behind head; convex; sparsely, deeply punctate; side margined, canaliculate, straight and convergent; anterior angle produced; posterior angle acute; pronotal length 0.7-0.9 mm (n=9); pronotal width 0.9-1.0 mm. Scutellum: pentagonal; alutaceous. Elytron: side margined, smooth; apices cojointly rounded; puncture rows impressed; puncture rows converge and unite on apical 1/5; elytral length 2.3-3.2 mm; elytral width 1.1-1.5 mm. Venter: prosternum black and smooth in middle, reddish-yellow and punctate at side; abdominal sterna 1 and 2 fused in middle; 3-5 setose. Leg: femur and tibia punctate; black. Total length 3.9-4.3 mm.
