SUMMARY
ADULT
Narrowly elongate; depressed; dorsum black, venter pale yellow; front of head yellowish; antennomeres 1-3 yellowish, 4-6 black, 7-11 whitish; lateral margins of pronotum, scutellum, and base of elytra with broad yellowish band, middle and apex of elytra with broad yellowish band; legs pale yellow. Head: frons concave, finely punctured; medial sulcus present. Antenna: antennomere 1 incrassate, 2x length 2; 3 slightly longer than 2; 4-6 subequal in length; 7-10 subequal in length; 11 2x length 10, rounded at apex. Pronotum: quadrate; lateral margin slightly sinuate, rounded anteriorly, canaliculate; anterior angle rounded; posterior angle acute; slightly convex; deeply, irregularly punctate, punctures more dense laterally, punctures of two sizes. Scutellum: elongate; pentagonal; smooth. Elytron: lateral margin straight, narrowly margined; apex slightly rounded; conjointly emarginate at suture; slightly constricted behind humerus; convex; disc flattened; puncture rows irregular. Venter: last abdominal sternite concave-emarginate in male, broadly emarginate in female. Total length: 9.0 mm.
