SUMMARY
ADULT
Large, subdepressed, yellowish-brown, eyes dark, black vittae on pronotum and elytra. Head: yellow; impunctate; fine medial carina; not depressed between eyes; keel between antennae; frons projecting. Antenna: less than ½ body length; antennomere 1 incrassate, clavate, as long as 2-4 combined; 1, 2, 11 yellowish, 3-10 dark; 2-4 compressed with interior projection; 5-10 transverse, subequal in length; 11 rounded at apex; 4-11 setose. Pronotum: transverse; much narrower than base of elytra; flattened; with scattered, fine punctures; sometimes with longitudinal medial vitta; side margined, straight for basal ¾'ths then rounded and convergent; anterior angle rounded, slightly produced; pronotal length 1.7-1.9 mm (n=15); pronotal width 2.0 mm. Scutellum: elongate, acutely triangular; smooth, black. Elytron: side margined, smooth, parallel; apices individually rounded; finely punctate-striate; puncture rows converge and unite at apex, but are slightly confused; yellow with sutural and lateral vittae; two black maculae after middle; elytral length 6.0-6.4 mm; elytral width 2.6-3.0 mm. Venter: yellowish; pro-, meso-, and metasterna smooth; abdominal sterna 1 and 2 fused in middle; sterna 3-5 setose; last sternite weakly rounded in male, bisinuate in female. Leg: yellowish; tibia dentate at apex, with setae on inner apical 1/3. Total length: 8.1-9.0 mm (Staines 1996).
