SUMMARY
ADULT
Head, antenna, pronotum, and legs black; elytra metallic blue; flattened; somewhat shining. Head: slightly depressed between eyes; vertex punctate, with medial sulcus; frons with small tubercle. Antenna: as long as head and pronotum combined; antennomeres 1-3 cylindrical, punctate with scattered setae; 1 longest; 2-3 subequal in length; 4-10 transverse; 11 rounded at apex; 4-11 setose. Pronotum: transverse; lateral margin reflexed, straight and divergent for basal ¾, then rounded; anterior angle angulate, not produced; posterior angle acute; disc transversely convex, virtually impunctate; sides moderately punctate; basal impression absent; pronotal length 1.1 mm; pronotum width 1.7 mm. Scutellum: pentagonal; smooth. Elytron: lateral margin straight, smooth; apical margin rounded, smooth; disc convex; humerus rounded, not produced; punctate-striate, punctures little impressed; elytral length 4.0 mm; elytral width 2.3 mm. Venter: prosternum brown; suture between abdominal sterna 1 and 2 complete; prosternum punctate medially, alutaceous laterally; abdominal sterna with white setae; last abdominal sternite bisinuate. Total length: 5.4 mm.
