SUMMARY
ADULT
Head, antennae, pronotum, and venter reddish-brown; elytra metallic blue. Head: vertex punctate; medial carina present; not depressed between eyes; frons not projecting. Antenna: antennomere 1 robust, cylindrical, punctate; 2 transverse; 3 cylindrical, subequal in length to 1; 4-10 transverse, setose, decreasing in length; 11 rounded at apex, subequal in length to 3. Pronotum: flattened; sparsely, irregularly punctate; side margined, canaliculate, straight for basal ¾'ths then rounded and convergent; anterior angle rounded, slightly produced; posterior angle acute; pronotal length 1.3-1.4 mm (n=4); pronotal width 1.7-2.0 mm. Scutellum: pentagonal, smooth. Elytron: side margined, smooth; apices cojointly rounded; convex; puncture rows impressed; rows converge and unite on apical 1/5; row 10 removed from margin; elytral length 4.1-5.1 mm; elytral width 2.3-2.7 mm. Venter: reddish-brown; abdominal sterna 1 and 2 not fused in middle; 1-5 setose. Leg: femura robust. Total length: 5.7-6.9 mm.
