ADULT
Subparallel, rounded apically; slightly convex; testaceous; head black with red vertex; antennomeres 1-4 red, 5-11 black; pronotum with basal margin slightly darker; scutellum reddish; spot on each elytron behind humerus and apex black; venter testaceous, darker apically. Head: densely punctate; front with strong carina; palps testaceous, slender. Antenna: filiform; as long as head and pronotum combined; antennomeres 1-2 thicker; 3 longest; 4 shorter than 3, longer than 2; 5-10 subequal in length to 2; 11 acutely pointed at apex; 1-5 punctate with scattered setae; 6-11 setose. Pronotum: wider at base than apex; anterior angle obtuse; posterior angle acute; lateral margin sinuate, narrowly margined; basal margin sinuate; flattened with weak basal impression on each side; with large, scattered punctures; disc almost impunctate. Scutellum: subpentagonal; shining; smooth. Elytron: lateral margin straight, narrowly margined; apex rounded; sutural angle without tooth; humerus rounded, not produced; slightly constricted behind humerus; flatly, deeply punctate-striate; punctures confused basally. Venter: epipleuron wide, almost flat, black at base; pro-, meso-, and metasterna punctate; abdominal sterna punctate, each puncture with a white seta; last abdominal sternite emarginate in male. Leg: short; robust. Total length: 6.5 mm
