SUMMARY
ADULT
Head and antennae black; pronotum reddish-brown with black macula on apical and basal margins; elytra black with 4 large yellow maculae. Head: vertex sparsely punctate-striate, slightly depressed between eyes; medial carina present; frons not projecting. Antenna: filiform; antennomere 1 incrassate; male with antennomere 1 clavate, long, compressed, obliquely truncate apically; 2 ½ length of 1, finely punctate, setose, inner apical angle projecting; 3 1½ times length of 2, triangular; 4 subequal in length to 3, triangular; 5 subequal in length to 4, cylindrical; 6-10 subequal in length, expanding slightly to apex; 11 oval; female has only antennomere 1 and 3 expanded; 2 longer, cylindrical, ½ length of 1. Pronotum: slightly wider than long; disc sparsely punctate; apical macula semicircular behind head; horizontal macula along basal margin does not reach side; side margined, straight, then convergent at apex; anterior angle rounded, produced; posterior angle slightly produced, acute; pronotal length 1.4-1.6 mm (n=50); pronotal width 1.7-2.0 mm. Scutellum: triangular, slightly longer than wide; black; alutaceous. Elytron: side margined, smooth, straight; apices obtusely truncate; flattened along suture; finely punctate-striate, punctures little impressed; basal maculae elongate triangle, extends to midline, with narrow point curving around edge of humerus toward suture; apical maculae squarish, just above apex, covering apical 1/5; elytral length 5.4-6.1 mm; elytral width 2.6-3.0 mm. Venter: pro-, meso-, and metasterna reddish-brown in middle, black at sides; abdomen finely pubescent; last sternite emarginate in male, not emarginate in female. Leg: femur reddish-brown, apex dark; tibia black, dentate at apex, setae on apical ⅓; tarsi dark. Total length: 7.4-8.3 mm.
