SUMMARY
Adult
Elongate; parallel; head, antennae, and most of elytra black, pronotum and lateral margin of elytra yellow. Head: finely punctate; almost as wide as apex of pronotum. Antenna: ½ the body length; antennomere 3 hirsute; 1-8 black, 9-11 yellow; 1-2 cylindrical; 2 short; 3 as long as 1-2 combined; 4-10 shorter, subequal in length, conical; 11 longer, oval. Pronotum: transverse; much narrower than base of elytra; basal punctate lateral depression on each side of disc; sides almost parallel, weakly convergent apically; anterior angle pointed; posterior angle rectangular; pronotal length 1.0-1.4 mm (n=11); pronotal width 1.6-1.9 mm. Scutellum: rounded, pentagonal. Elytron: apices individually rounded; sutural angle fine; disc moderately punctate-striate; scutellar row very long; 7th interspace with additional puncture row; elytral length 5.9-7.3 mm; elytral width 2.3-2.8 mm. Venter: pro-, meso- and metasterna yellow in middle, black laterally; abdominal sterna black in middle, yellow laterally; last sternite hind margin straight in male, strongly curved in female. Leg: femour yellow; tibia and tarsi black. Total length: 7.4-10.0 mm. (Staine, 1996).
