ADULT
Suboblong; black; legs and apex of abdomen red; elytra testaceous with black spot at base near humerus, a second spot at base near suture, and a medial black shallow V-shaped transverse band from suture to near lateral margin; antennae yellowish-brown. Head: concave between eyes; densely punctate; median sulcus absent. Antenna: reach beyond humerus; slender; antennomeres 1-2 robust; 1 longest; 2-10 decreasing in length; 1 & 2 punctate with scattered setae; 3-11 setose; 11 acutely pointed at apex. Pronotum: quadrate; lateral margin straight from basal 4/5 then rounded to anterior angle; anterior angle rounded, not produced; posterior angle acute; convex; coarsely, irregularly punctate; transverse basal impression present medially. Scutellum: pentagonal; smooth. Elytron: lateral margin straight, margined, smooth; apices cojointly rounded; humerus rounded, not produced; slightly constricted behind humerus; coarsely punctate-striate. Venter: last abdominal sternite weakly rounded-truncate in male; rounded in female. Total length: 4.0 mm.
