SUMMARY
Reddish-brown, antennae, eyes, and parts of legs darker. Head: finely and sparsely punctate, more punctate toward eyes; depressed between eyes; medial sulcus present; frons not projecting; carina between antennal bases on front. Antenna: less than ½ body length; female with antennomeres 2-11 cylindrical, 1 thicker, compressed at base; male with 1-4 compressed, dilated, 1 subclavate, 2-4 subtriangular, 2 short, wider than long, 3-4 less dilated, each longer than 2; 5-10 transverse, subequal in length; 11 pointed at apex; 1-4 punctate; 5-11 setose. Pronotum: slightly wider than long; convex; disc sparsely punctate; punctation more dense laterally; side convergent at apex; apical margin sinuate; anterior angle rounded; posterior angle rectangular; pronotal length 1.4-1.9 mm (n=20); pronotal width 2.0-2.7. Scutellum: longer than wide, pentagonal, apex acute, smooth. Elytron: convex; strongly punctate-striate, punctures black; puncture rows converge and unite at apex; apices individually rounded; humerus almost impunctate; narrow black sutural vitta present on some specimens; elytral length 5.9-7.3 mm; elytral width 2.8-3.6 mm. Venter: prosternum smooth in middle, rugose at sides; meso- and metasterna smooth in middle, punctate at sides; abdominal sterna dark, paler laterally, setose. Leg: variable in color- all dark or tibia and tarsi dark, femur pale. Total length: 7.6-9.6 mm.
