SUMMARY
ADULT
Head, antennae, and scutellum black; pronotum yellow, may have black vitta; elytra variable with black and yellow. Head: vertex black, punctate near eyes; eyes protruding, finely faceted; front yellow, finely and densely punctate; medial sulcus present. Antenna: black; antennomere 1 elongate, robust, fringe of setae at apex; 2 transverse, twice as long as 3; 3 triangular; 4-10 cylindrical; 11 pointed at apex; 4-11 covered with short golden setae. Pronotum: yellow with dark medial vitta or all yellow; scattered punctures near side margin and medially at base; side margined, straight; basal margin bisinuate; anterior angle nearly rectangular; pronotal length 1.08-1.31 mm (n=50); pronotal width 1.16-1.54 mm. Scutellum: black; long, acutely triangular; shiny; alutaceous. Elytron: side margined; humerus rounded; slightly expanded at apex; yellow with black or dark markings; sutural vitta from suture to 4th interspace; lateral vitta from 6th puncture row to 9th puncture row; 10th puncture row and margin yellow; elytral length 4.32-5.12 mm; elytral width 1.66-2.04 mm. Venter: prosternum yellow with black macula laterally; meso- and metasterna yellow medially, black laterally; abdominal sterna dark medially, yellow laterally. Leg: femur yellow, robust; tibia black, expanded to apex; tarsi black, setose beneath, 2 claws. Total length: 5.6-6.88 mm.
