SUMMARY
ADULT
Metallic blue, legs yellowish. Head: vertex punctate, depressed between eyes; medial carina present; frons not projecting. Antenna: ½ body length; antennomeres 1 and 3 subequal in length; 2 slightly shorter; 1 and apical ½ of 11 reddish; 1-3 cylindrical; 4-10 transverse, subequal in length; 11 pointed at apex; 4-11 setose. Pronotum: nearly twice as wide as long; densely punctate; disc transversely convex, depressed on each side; side margined, paler than rest, straight, converging from base to apex, reflexed; anterior angle not produced, rounded; posterior angle acute; pronotal length 0.6-0.7 mm (n=10); pronotal width 0.7-1.1 mm. Scutellum: pentagonal, smooth. Elytron: broadly oblong-ovate; convex; punctate-striate, striae sulcate; puncture rows obsolete at apex; side margined, smooth; humerus slightly produced, callus extends on base to scutellum; elytral length 2.1-2.3 mm; elytral width 1.4-1.6 mm. Venter: pro- and mesosterna punctate; metasternum smooth in middle, punctate at sides; abdominal sterna setose. Leg: setose. Total length: 3.1-3.3 mm.
