SUMMARY
ADULT
Head, antennae, and scutellum black; pronotum and elytra yellowish with black markings. Head: vertex densely punctate; medial longitudinal carina; not depressed between eyes; frons not projecting. Antenna: antennomere 1 subclavate, punctate; 2 oblong-ovate, ⅔'rds length of 1, rugose; 3 cylindrical, subequal in length to 1; 4-5 cylindrical, shorter than 2 or 3; 6-10 transverse, decreasing in length; 11 pointed at apex; 4-11 setose. Pronotum: slightly wider than long; convex; covered with large, deep punctures; medial line on disc nearly impunctate; medial black macula from base to apex; side margined, straight for basal ¾'ths, rounded and convergent at extreme apex, slightly canaliculate anteriorly; anterior angle produced, obtuse; posterior angle acute; pronotal length 1.0-1.3 mm (n=20); pronotal width 1.3-1.6 mm. Scutellum: pentagonal. Elytron: subelongate; side margined, smooth, straight; convex; apices cojointly obtusely rounded; strongly punctate-striate; humerus almost impunctate; yellow; black sutural vitta from base to ¾'ths length, gradually narrows to apex; elytral length 3.6-4.4 mm; elytral width 2.0-2.1 mm. Venter: pro-, meso-, and metasterna dark reddish-brown and smooth in middle, punctate at sides; abdominal sterna paler reddish-brown; 1 and 2 fused in middle, punctate at sides; 3-5 setose. Leg: yellowish-brown; tibia with fringe of setae at apex. Total length: 4.9-5.1 mm.
